Some exposure to harsh conditions-such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures-for short periods of time is possible. Job Description
Position Summary:
Working with operations and sales to ensure the proper new and remanufactured turbochargers have been packed and shipped properly to the customer or Terrepower Distribution Centers.
Job Duties:
- Picks, packs, and processes outgoing shipments in a proficient, safe, and efficient manner
- Performs quality checks and inspection of items produced. Validate that paperwork is attached and matches the product as well as visual inspection of proper packaging to prevent damage
- Cycle counts, inventory inspection and material handling of turbochargers, including loading and unloading trucks. Maintains accurate inventory levels of product and packaging material
- Visual inspection to ensure proper labelling and shipments are going to the correct destination
- Organizes and prioritize workload, working with tight deadlines
- Data entry, processing, and reporting to Oracle systems
Skills and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer skills. Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
- Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime on an as needed/required basis in order to complete work in process
- Completes other responsibilities as assigned to meet the needs of the business
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail/visional oriented
- Ability to meet shipping deadlines
