Licensed Insurance Sales Representative - P&C (Remote)

Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and helping people protect their auto and home? We are looking for someone to join our team as a Licensed Inside Sales Representative.

Responsibilities

• Quote and sell insurance products including automobile, homeowners and umbrella insurance.
• Follow up on missing information to close insurance sales by phone or email to prospective clients.
• Attend required and ongoing training, meetings, one-on-ones, and continued education requirements to maintain an active property casualty producer's license.
• Demonstrate advantages of our products, services and benefits while overcoming objections to purchase.

Qualifications

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer's License or Personal Lines License is required to be considered.
• Experience maintaining an organized and up-to-date pipeline of opportunities to provide accurate quotes to clients.
• Experience prioritizing sales opportunities based on ICP on multiple computer systems during a quote.
• Ability to explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients.

Work Arrangement & Schedule

Primarily home-based role (80% time) with occasional travel to the Denver, CO area for in-person activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.

Training is approximately 2 months, 8:30am to 5:00pm local time, with no time off during training.

Post-training shifts are evening hours local time Monday through Friday (ending 8:00pm) and Saturdays (ending 5:00pm) with a 1 in 3 Saturday rotation. A 9-hour Monday shift and a 7-hour shift later in the week are also required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting base pay: $25/hour with an uncapped bonus plan. Average variable compensation is approximately $2,000 per month; variation up to $7,000+ is possible as business expands across states.
• Position compensation range: $25.00 $31.25 per hour. Pay type: Hourly.
• Relocation assistance is offered for eligible candidates. Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic location.

Licenses: You must hold an active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer's License or Personal Lines license. American Family Insurance will pay to maintain licenses after hire along with CE requirements.

Travel requirements: Up to 10%.

Physical requirements: Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
