Overview

Sales Director (Oil and Gas Industry) - Remote Work at BairesDev. Role focuses on sourcing, nurturing, and closing new BairesDev clients primarily from your network and/or industry, not inbound leads. This is a Hunter position.

What you'll do
  • Hunting: Buildstrong, long-lasting relationships with midsize to enterprise-level clients across industries with a primary focus on Energy (Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Utilities).
  • Originate and nurture business relationships resulting in engagement opportunities.
  • Present BairesDev's unique value proposition tailored to the needs of potential clients' senior executives.
  • Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients.
  • Project Management: Scope projects, shape engagements, and help define business solutions that satisfy client needs and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Plan, implement, and manage lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet annual revenue targets.
  • Plan resources, organize and mobilize teams (including solution design, UX, technical, engagement management, staffing, and delivery teams) throughout the complex sales cycle.
  • Understand and assist in managing and mitigating key risks through tactical plans and actions.
What we are looking for
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or related industrial sectors with exposure to technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience in business development, relationship management, or technical sales within the energy sector.
  • Proven success in sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and Enterprise accounts within energy markets.
  • Excellent understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, including key players, strategies, client structure, business models, sub-verticals, needs, challenges, and key trends.
  • Demonstrated strategic, creative, and analytical approach with a focus on initiating and building client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of operational systems, data management, and technological challenges commonly faced in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Native English or fully bilingual (English).
