The Warehouse Specialist works as part of a team transporting material. The Warehouse Specialist's assigned team will vary based on business necessity.
POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Transport materials as required with tugs, side loaders, and forklifts.
Able to perform all Job Validation (JV) duties
Comply with safety, quality, and productivity requirements and procedures
Regular/dependable attendance required
Flexibility of work hours including overtime
Use of hand tools and machinery is required to maintain equipment and buildings
Use computer and scanner systems for inventory accounting
Able to read, write, and use computers
Must be able to work well with little or no supervision
Participates in WWS's Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding his/her team's performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; 0-1 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, talk, hear, and move about the facility. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. The employee must occasionally push up to 90 pounds and pull up to 93 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
